Outward journey by car

Coming from the direction of Vienna, take the A1 West motorway to Salzburg. Here you have two possibilities, you can either take the route over the “Kleine Deutsche Eck” (German corner), then you go through Bad Reichenhall, Unken, Lofer and Saalfelden to the region Zell am See-Kaprun. Through the Salzachtal and the Tauern motorway, takes a little bit longer, but is in no way less promising. The Seehotel Bellevue is located in Thumersbach on the eastern lakeshore, directly opposite the town of Zell am Zee.

Coming from the direction of Munich, take the A9 motorway to Salzburg. From Salzburg you have a choice – Please take the details from the above description. If you are coming from the south, from Klagenfurt or Villach, it is best to take the A10 Tauern motorway to Pongau and from there drive in the direction of Bischofshofen. Going past St. Johann im Pongau you will finally come to the region of Zell am See-Kaprun and to the Seehotel Bellevue, which is located in Thumersbach on the eastern lakeshore.

Outward journey by train

The region Zell am See-Kaprun has very good connections to the national and international train and railway network. In some cases, you will have to change at Salzburg central station and then you can take a train directly to the holiday residence in Zell am See-Kaprun. The town of Zell am See has a large, well-organised train station, where many long and short-distance trains stop. We will be happy to organise a shuttle bus for you and your luggage, for your transfer from the train station to the Seehotel Bellevue.

Outward journey by plane

Many guests travelling by plane land at the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Airport Salzburg. From there, there are good train connections in the direction of Zell am See-Kaprun or we will be happy to organise a shuttle bus for you, which will pick you and your luggage up from the airport. The second closest airport is the Franz Josef Strauss Airport Munich, where many international flights land. From Munich airport you can simply jump on a train, which will take you comfortably to Zell am See-Kaprun. We will also be happy to organise a shuttle bus for you to pick you up or take you to Munich airport.
